Re: refrigerator “coal” tip (@ 36:30 on the timeline).
I think Andrew was referring to charcoal briquets, charcoal has all of the qualities stated in the show.
John was going down the right road on two counts. Coal don’t have the physical characteristics that charcoal has, mainly the the surface area.
I also agree with John that one should not cook meat directly over a coal fire, the tar and all of the other nasty stuff in the combustion gasses would NOT be good for your health.

Ok guys open up 2 browsers and go to google and bing and choose images and search on a term…maybe serene…then look carefully at the 2 interfaces…bing wins on many counts…I use search engines to search for high quality images for my powerpoints all the time and I am not loyal to any of them…and prefer ixquick to the others when looking for text.
Regarding the “loading” cells on Google spreadsheets where market formulas should be appearing (it’s a feature, not a bug! LOL), see my reproduced comments below that I made back on December 5th relating to DHUnplugged #42:
“Be careful of investing too much time, at least in the short term, developing sophisticated models on Google spreadsheets. Many users including me have had issues using the @market functions where you get a sheet of blank cells displaying “Loading..,” that sometimes never refresh for hours or days. Also, the stated limit on these data functions is limited to 250 per spreadsheet, which is easily exhausted on a small portfolio if you are tracking 40-50 stocks with data on volume, price, hi-lo price info, etc. Hopefully they’ll fix this soon.”
