You strike exactly the right balance between substance and style. Nice work. If you were to go to a pay model, I would suggest a hybrid of some sort. Face it, whether you like it or not, I think any podcaster needs itunes to deliver new audience to them. And you will only build an audience with free content. Having said that, I would suggest you use itunes as a "hook" of sorts, perhaps putting an abbreviated version of your podcast on itunes, so people have a shot at finding you, and then charging for an extended version.
